I am hoping I am directing this question to the right group....can you
tell me why the following would be on my computer?

At some point youve installed IIS on your computer (is it Windows XP Pro
64-bit or Windows 2003 Server?). This is not installed as standard.

Yes, they have access to your computer. But the access is restricted to the
user accounts they run under, and your public exposure is restricted by
whatever security software/device configuration you have. If the quote
youve provided is from an online scanning service then that means that
these services are open the public to connect to - but it doesnt necessary
mean that your system has been compromised.

If you know that you definitely do not need IIS on your system you can
remove it.
